Very anti-climactic finale, the character beats were nice...but nothing about the actual resolution did much for me. Only a little disappointed.

Based on the next episode preview...there is a possibility that the threat of Gomah could force our heroic group of characters back to the 3rd Demon World.

There are 4 episodes left and the final fight certainly isn't going to start yet.

If it seems like they'd recruit Tamagami #1 ...

If it was going to be so anti-climactic, the actual scene could've been...much more comedically paced and shorter. Up until the leader hurt his hand, it felt like it was being played completely sincerely. Which considering the substance of the scene...is boring ...

Dabra told the little cockroach dude to take it to the 3rd Demon World for whatever reason...

And then dude lost the eye because he died, mission accomplished. He was probably meant to sell it, but the end result's the same.

It made Abra the king because it gives him power...

Dabra wants the eye, to depower the king; his father, and overthrow him...

He sends the eye away so that his potential heir or anyone else can't steal the eye and use it against him...

1. Oh look, it's weapons that would've made the police an actual threat in the first half of the series. Cool.

2. Wow, it's an explanation to justify why Piccolo died after blocking Nappa's blast. Obvious, but some people do need the spoon ...

It took me a while, but I suppose this is the best possible time to mention it since...6 episodes left, we're pretty much in the homestretch.

The main problem I have with how this series tackles conflict, is just a general flaw with Dragon Ball in general. The series as a whole does not know how ...

Character interaction is being quite sparse despite these 2 episodes being the calm, low key, break after the Tamagami fights.

The disappointing thing is that things feel too safe including interactions.

I for one am glad that they are finally ditching the plane, they never needed it to begin with and that was only further highlighted by the episodes end.

In all honesty I much preferred it when the team was just Goku, Panzy, Nahare and Glorio, I just feel like there were more interesting ...

Hmm...watching that I thought there would be more to talk about.

Well, first off...even without the basic explanation of needing Neva to summon the Demon Dragon. Here's another conflict bypass-er...they definitely needed him here to solve this issue in the easiest way possible.

Certainly not much though. Of all the recent episodes, this is the one to not have a B-plot of any kind...that's disappointing.

Vegeta's fight kind of suffered a bit more from him being not as flexible as a fighter...his domination wasn't as cool as it could've been.

Though Tamagami #1 flailing his sword chasing Duu was a bit much, other than that...it was fine.

I like Vegeta's fight being differentiated from Goku's by having modifiers...like the Kraken being a stage hazard and Neva boosting the Tamagami's strength.

Unfortunately it wasn't as interesting as it could've been. I don't know why Vegeta really needed to get SSJ3 here...but at least it looks ...
