I absolutely love this stuff. Behind the scenes things like that are the reason I buy Japanese guidebooks. Thanks for scanning those!

Love both covers, with one exception. The panels seem really out of place on movie 12. I don't remember there being anything like that on the previous movie single disc releases. Was there?

Woah, desert dried skin :?. That's quite unfortunate. I mean, it looked so smexy in the figures only for it to show some climate damage after a while... and they ain't cheap, either, right?
Nope, definitely not cheap. I believe that Sideshow Collectibles was the US distributor for these and they ...

Hao_Kaiser, you were right on. There were a bunch of minifigs released by Irwin that featured characters not even close to having debuted in the dub. Here's a link to a series with a lot of characters who would have been unknown to most dub fans.

I can't begin to express how excited I am. I've been hoping against hope that someday Viz would translate the Daizenshuu and release them here. Heck, I even started a silly online petition to get Viz to release the books in English about a year ago.

I also think that Vegeta is proud of his Saiyan heritage. I think that a lot of his pride comes from his high social rank. After all, he IS Prince of the Saiyans. I think I'd be pretty proud of my race if I was the Prince of it.

Gohan going SSJ 2 basically made the show for me. That episode originally aired on Cartoon Network around the time that DBZ was at its peak in America. There was merchandise to be had in many stores, everyone at school was talking about it, and it was on at a reliable time every weekday. Those were ...

The first Dragonball thing that I can remember is an ad from probably 1998. The local UPN station had Pokemon on in the mornings before school, and one day I saw an ad for Dragonball. At the time they were running it in syndication. I thought it looked cool and watched a few episodes. I've been ...

All the single dvds are still available on Amazon.

That's basically true, but there a few that aren't available any more. For example, the last disc of the Cell Games set is incredibly hard to find for a reasonable price. They have them used on Amazon, but the cheapest one is around $60. I've ...
