I just sketched this up, just now. I think some posters were thinking along these lines.
Image
I hope the image fits.

What if Zeno is an obscure pun on supertasks?

So, I just watched a video by Vsauce: https://youtu.be/ffUnNaQTfZE

If has to do with producing something infinite from something finite .

An example is Gabriel's Cake, where you cut a cake in half, take one of those halves and cut that in half, then continue that pattern forever.

If the cake ...

Re: What do we call Kales two forms?

Ssj Rogue.

"Rogue" is less furious than "Berserker" but potentially means one can be in a rage.

"Rogue" would allude to one's alienation from normal super Saiyan, other people, and one's own identity.

Was non-divine telepathy just forgotten?

I remember it being used for the canyon fight versus Vegeta and when Goku read Krillin's mind, but after that it seemed only Kaio and East Kaioshin could use it prominently. Weren't there situations where using ki like a 2 way radio would have been called for?

Re: Better name for Blue SSG?

Super God-Saiyan . The red form would be still be Super Saiyan God, but the emphasis would be more explicit: Blue - (Super) god-Saiyan . Red (Super Saiyan) God .

It would be the difference between 'king thunder-god' and 'thunder god-king'. The first is a (Royal) thunder god and the latter is a ...

Re: Why is Broly so over-hyped?

Broly's first fight was so one-sided it was hilarious. The beat down he gave the Saiyans + Piccolo was something that me and my cousin watched repeatedly, both dubs, both subtitles, in slow motion, at chipmunk voice speed (my favorite)...it was entertaining.

With the power of the rewind button, we ...

Re: Dragon Ball Super: Power Level Discussion Thread

Are near-death power-ups (zenkais?) still a thing? It looks like Goku got one in episode eleven. So much of the series so far has been driven by recovery from extreme trauma (including death, Kaioken backlash, and just plain humiliating defeats) that people would be crying out for a nerf if this was ...

What Makes a Fighter Bullet-Proof?

As far back as chapter one, Goku has been immune to at least small fire arms (besides intense pain and maybe a bruise). This establishes Goku's freakishly strong nature. Then, when he and Krillin acquire Launch, the two prove pained but otherwise unharmed by her submachine guns. That might have been ...

A few things:

* There should have been skills bound to the boost/step button and then another set of skills bound to guard.
* I'm not a programmer, but would it not have been a simple addition offer the choice of the color of your ki and ki attacks.
* Rise to Action is nice, especially for human ...

Re: "Dragon Ball Heroes" On-Going Discussion Thread

It's nice seeing Heroes, Online, and Xenoverse converging. Maybe Xenoverse will absorb the designs and attacks from Heroes and it will be the closest we come to playing Heroes in the west. Fans of Broly will probably use his attacks anyway, but I really want some of the more obscure attacks pulled ...

Re: What Would You Want In A Burst Limit 2?

I'd like every transformation, costume, and character from DB Heroes. Besides that I really just want the mechanics of Shin Budokai 2 with the capsule system of Infinite Worlds. Oh, and maybe a What If system based on the story mode where you can deviate from the canon route at any time, with the ...

Re: Broly's aura?!??

Something they could have done differently is Paragus and Broli going to a planet and trying to settle down for a normal saiyan life. Then something goes wrong. Some alien kid moons Broli or Broli goes too far in sparring with Paragus and then he blows up the planet while barely bringing his father ...

Any more thoughts?

Sure: How come Broly's LSSJ transformation change the color of the sky and why does his energy seem to come from the surrounding area? Also, is his bubble shield part of his aura or just a signature technique?

Maybe, as he grew up, his transformations were under development ...

Re: Goku using telekinesis

I distinctly remember Goku levitating the glass of water and Piccolo messing with pyramids, in the anime, but the closest thing we have to TK from Goku, otherwise, is the floating rocks and weather manipulation during power-ups that almost everyone else does, as well. It stands to reason that he ...

Re: What if Vegeta was female?

The way I see it, the only substantial plot point that Vegeta's gender provides is Trunks. Bulma would send Gohan back in time. With one less son to raise, she'd probably have time to send him back before 17 and 18 bury him. Cell may not have had a chance to hijack the time machine, since Gohan may ...

Re: Your most hated character

I used to hate Majin Buu, if that counts. Now, I look back on all that and laugh.

Don't see what's so obvious to hate about Broly. He's an N-Cap (or N-Cop). A term I now derive from the likewise this-moment derived acronym: Narratively Convenient Ass-Whooping, Personified.

I know it wont take ...

Re: Broly Getting Stronger

I'm not sure if this is defined as wanking, but I like to think that Broly's chi is mostly ambient, but with his signiture. Ignoring some climactic dialogue, I'd say that this ambient chi is also what kills him.

This, for me, solves a few things.

1. The characters donating power to Goku at the ...

Why don't we go by the feats that the characters performed instead of trying to stack characters on top of each other across two different canons.

I'd say that Broly demonstrates his power and speed when he destroys a planet.

I'd say that his (energy) attacks were traveling at a fraction of the ...
