Re: What are villains going to do in Hell for an eternity?
It's sort of a Buddhist-like system, I think. When you die you are judged on your actions (how righteous and compassionate you lived,) then sorted into one of many realms. We could interpret the afterlife that Goku spends some time in as being the next world up. Eventually Goku and others there ...

Re: Do you like all filler?
I would really love it if Toei could just do 'seasons' of animated adaptations of manga. Then you don't have to worry about overtaking the comics without boring me to tears. One Piece would be a lot more enjoyable to watch if someone just edited together the last-episode recaps...

7 or younger.
I remember getting some import GT action figures from somewhere when the Artificial Human arc was airing on the tele and I thought Pan was Chi-Chi or something. Vegetto also ended up losing his single bang, but some red paint fixed that into a head shot.

I don't see what's so wrong with equations, granted that they aren't the only substance in a post, for the purpose of easily communicating how much stronger in relation to other characters, a character is. Now when it's some huge ass thing that has >>, >=, other shit, and a bunch of characters added ...

Looks to me like one could interpret something other than that.Kaboom wrote:- Trunks and Vegeta appear to be using Super Saiyan Grade 2, which they had abandoned by the Cell Games..

In all works of fiction, everyone knows the secret spot where you can hit someone's head to cause zero brain damage while knocking them unconscious.

He's sweating while using the sword in Super Saiyan... although that might just be because he is sensing Goku's Super Saiyan 3 Ki.

Re: Goku's true boost in strength when becoming Super Saiyan
It seemed pretty evident that Gohan was in 'Full-Power Super Saiyan' against Cell, as he was calm while in the Super Saiyan transformation.
Now, doesn't he say he's gotten his old power back or something when he uses the Kamehameha against Buu's shell thing? Because later we seem him struggling to ...

Re: Goku's true boost in strength when becoming Super Saiyan
What I mean is that his training at that point probably isn't anywhere near as intense as it used to be (any increase in strength is negligible.)

Re: Shouldn't Tenshinhan be alive?
It seemed to be hurting Semi-Perfect Cell, whereas Piccolo and the present 17 are both unable to touch him before transforming... and they could no doubt win one-on-one against the future versions of the artificial humans.

Re: Goku's true boost in strength when becoming Super Saiyan
Exactly, we do see Tenshinhan training, so we know he didn't stop. Piccolo does train for the Budokai, and him even wanting to compete suggests he still has something besides his new lifestyle.
If I were a betting man, I would think Piccolo did train, not nearly as hard as he did when death was ...

I thought Freeza could blow up Namek in any form he wanted, but didn't want to do it while he's on it since the explosion could fuck him up (or the Dragon Balls.)

Re: Goku's true boost in strength when becoming Super Saiyan
But Piccolo was always training because he was all pent up and needing to kill some Saiyans/Artificial Humans/whoever. By the Tenkaichi Budokai in the Buu arc he's totally tranquil and shit.
Was Tenshinhan ever stated to stop? Wasn't he in the middle of training during Buu's extinction attack?

I don't get why everyone is so down on them. I like the new look, but it seems the color of the cover art is slightly different. Certainly 100x better than those ugly VIZBIGs or that awful Dragon Ball Z logo...

Shouldn't Tenshinhan be alive?
Tenshinhan never stops training, even in peacetime. So his 'Future' self should be at the same level as the main timeline, regardless of not being informed about the Artificial Humans.

Re: Does Gotenks have SSJ2?
So when Cell said that Trunks surpassed him, he was saying "You've surpassed my not-quite-serious power so I'm going to give you this lesson on speed and whatnot that is completely irrelevant since I could still destroy you even if you were fast."
Pretty much. Cell was referring to Trunks ...
