K-239 is the Kanzenshuu catalogue number assigned to an unreleased piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenlong. The film premiered at Toei Manga Matsuri on 20 December 1986.
Overview
K-239 is the second iteration of the Turtle Hermit's theme in Dragon Ball Movie 1, but it begins and ends with short references to the Kinto'un theme which originally debuted with K-40 and then K-43 in Dragon Ball Episode 3. K-239 represents the only references to the Kinto'un theme in the film. It is given the title "Kame Sennin Can't Ride Kinto'un" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions.
