M309 is the official catalogue number of a piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for the Dragon Ball anime in 1987. The piece debuted in Dragon Ball Episode 59 which was broadcast on 22 April 1987.
Overview
M309 is the main iteration of the Tao Pai-Pai theme. The full composition is part a of the suite entitled ""T'ao Pai-pai", Assassin-for-Hire", which is track #18 on disc #2 of the Daizenshuu. It is given the title "Final Bang" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions. The piece was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-315 based on its placement in the series.
