Age 779 is a fictional year in the timeline of the Dragon Ball franchise, during which Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' and its retelling in Dragon Ball Super occur.

Almost everyone on Earth (with the exception of Son Goku, Bulma, Turtle Hermit, Kuririn, Tenshinhan, Piccolo, Son Gohan, Jaco, Whis, and Beerus) dies when Freeza blows up the planet in a last-ditch effort to defeat Vegeta. However, Whis uses his Temporal Do-Over ability to reverse time to before this event occurred.[4][9]

- ↑ In Dragon Ball chapter 519, the Tournament Announcer gives Pan's age as four years old. The guidebooks consistently list Pan's birth year as Age 779. The 28th Tenka'ichi Budokai takes place on 07 May, 784, indicating that Pan's fifth birthday must be sometime later that year.
Dragon Ball XENOVERSE 2 places the tournament between Universe 6 and Universe 7 and the return of Future Trunks in Age 779. Due to the contradictory nature of information and events between Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F', Dragon Ball Super, its manga, and the guidebooks, it remains to be seen if this timeline placement will be upheld in future production materials.
