The Masenkōsappō is a combination attack used by Son Gohan and Piccolo.

Usage

Masenkōsappō was introduced in Dragon Ball Z: Bukū Ressen ("Supersonic Warriors 2") as a combination attack used by Piccolo and Super Saiyan 2 Gohan. In the Dragon Ball Super manga, Gohan and Piccolo use the attack against OG73-I, an android in Saganbo's Galactic Bandit Brigade, in the run-up to the battle with Moro.[1]

Name

Gohan starts with "Masen..." and Piccolo finishes with "...kōsappō".

Masenkōsappō is a portmanteau of Masenkō (魔閃光 ませんこう), meaning "Demon Flash", and Makankōsappō (魔貫光殺砲 まかんこうさっぽう), a string of words meaning "Demon Pierce Light Kill Cannon". The in Makankōsappō" (光, read ひかり or hikari when used as a standalone noun) means "light", but the same in Masenkō is part of the compound word senkō (閃光) meaning "flash".
