Age 749 is a fictional year in the timeline of the Dragon Ball franchise, during which Bulma first meets Son Goku.

| 05 September 749 | Goku subdues Oolong and receives the six-star ball from a Granny Paozu.[3] |
| 06 September 749 | Goku meets Yamcha and Pu'er.[4] |
| 09 September 749 | Goku defeats Yamcha.[5] In the morning, the Turtle Hermit extinguishes the flames enfulging Frypan Mountain from a distance with a Kamehameha.[6] Bulma finds the seven-star ball among the rubble from the Ox Demon King's castle.[7] Around noon, Goku teaches the Rabbit Gang of Mushroom City a lesson.[8] The two-through-seven-star balls are stolen by the Pilaf Gang.[9] At night, Shenlong emerges from the gathered full set of Dragon Balls.[10] After looking at the full moon, Goku becomes a Great Ape[11] and destroys Pilaf Castle.[12] |
