Dragon Ball Z: Gokū Hishōden (Dragon Ball Z: Goku's Soaring Legend) is a role-playing game developed and published by Bandai for the Nintendo Game Boy released 25 November 1994 exclusively in Japan.
Gokū Hishōden would be the first Dragon Ball title developed for a handheld system. Its sequel, Dragon Ball Z: Gokū Gekitōden, would release the following year.

Story

The story starts off at God's Temple, where Son Goku has been training for three years. To test the results of that training, Mister Popo creates a copy of Goku that God breathes life into. This Copy Goku serves as the first opponent of the game, who starts out with equal HP and KI as Goku and can use the same moves, though his BP is five points lower.
