The Jump Victory Carnival 2021 TV Adventure ADVENTURE BOOK -Explorer Primer- is a small booklet provided to fans ahead of the Jump Victory Carnival event in 2021, which — due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, including the cancellation of the previous year's event[1][2] — was broadcast on television (4:00 pm local time on August 22nd) instead of held in person. Known as the "Saikyō V-Jump Festa" in 2012 and 2013, the event was renamed as "Jump Victory Carnival" in 2014, a name it retains to this day.
The book contains information about the various companies and products, news about said upcoming products, and various spin-off/supplemental manga chapters in support of these franchises.
Dragon Ball Product Information
Bandai's various lines of figures, including the "SUPER SAIYAN FULLPOWER SON GOKU" S.H.Figuarts release.
Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is highlighted on page 30, specifically noting its recent Nintendo Switch port.
The Dragon Ball Super manga running in V-Jump is highlighted on page 40.
Dragon Ball Manga
The 2021 book features a single bonus chapter of an ongoing Dragon Ball manga series.
Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Big Bang Mission!!!
Yoshitaka Nagayama contributes a two-page chapter of Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Big Bang Mission!!! on pages 14-15.
Trunks happens upon the Kaiōshin of Time, who is organizing time scrolls. She uses the opportunity to briefly recap the revival of the Dark Empire in Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Dark Demon Realm Mission!, followed by the battle against Fu and the Prison Planet events in Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Universe Mission!! This brings us to the current Super Dragon Ball Heroes: Big Bang Mission!!! manga series. Readers can catch up via the six tankōbon available, as well as the manga currently running in Saikyō Jump.
This two-page special chapter has yet to be reprinted.
