M401 is the official catalogue number of a piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball: The Sleeping Princess in the Devil's Castle. The film premiered at Tōei Manga Matsuri on 18 July 1987.
Overview
M401 is part a of the suite entitled "The Sleeping Princess in the Devil's Castle", which is track #03 on disc #5 of the Daizenshuu. It is given the title "The Sleeping Princess" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions. The piece was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-401 based on its placement in the overall series.
