Evening friends. I own the japanese dragon boxes, if i were to send them to someone... Could they possibly apply english subtitles to them for me?

Hey guys, I've been wanting to burn subtitles on my japanese dragon boxes. Could anyone post a video tutorial or pm how to do so?

With large movie studios running out of ideas and the fact that certain anime/manga are getting movie adaptions soon, I think that there will definitely be a live action dbz movie.

If you put into perspective, if vegeta hadn't changed post-sacrifice, then he'd still be a loner doing selfish deeds in order to gain greater power. From what we have seen post-sacrifice, he no longer does this and has basically settled down with his family.

Add into the mix that he can ...

To be honest, i felt and still feel that the movie is kind of boring and dull.

The enemy is hurt by cursing and mean spirited words and the action is mainly stock dragon ball z action. However the transformation of super saiyajin 3 goku was marvelous.

At no point did it feel like the other z ...

There is a rumor that I have heard/read on the web, that the goku jr special was dubbed by the same company and that the dub was actually ok. Can anyone confirm this?

My first anime were sailor moon, knights of the zodiac aka saint seiya and one of the gundam series before dragon ball.

I don't get how K-ON made the list, but in regards to DB, DB is subject to the fashion of it's era. That's the late 1980's to early-mid 1990's. That's just how fashion was back then; neons and short shorts, legwarmers, big hair, etc. I don't think it's fair of the poll to put its clothes against ...

The leftover grain just looks unsettling and gross. The colours I will admit are better, however I'm still not buying these releases.

Give it about three or four years and we will see a 4x3 release, possibly Steve's transfer. Or Funimation might just leave it as it is and have these blu rays as the permanent home release.

I don't like a lot of the placing on that list, Hunter x Hunter, rurouni kenshin, bleach etc below jo jo and slam dunk .

However I am glad that dragon ball is in the top 5, it deserves to be.

I've pretty much gotten the release I've wanted (the Dragon Boxes for the "complete" show, Kai for the "easier-to-watch" version), but for the sake of being a completist:

1) Some kind of release with improved Japanese audio (either through the original broadcasts or through second-hand recordings ...

Ź' ending to me, was so underwhelming. I hadn't seen the ending until a couple of years ago, but when I did I barely felt anything.

Gt in my option, summed things up very nicely.

Dragon boxes on blu ray, with minor colour correction and the original Japanese broadcast audio.

Aniplex... Buy the rights and do it, I don't care how much :lol:

Selling my kai dvd's and have sold all my ocean dub boxsets. If some company release a dragon box release on blu ray, then I'll buy a few copy's and I'll be done buying forever.
