Sorry if this has been posted before, but am I missing something? Did the Kai dub go back to using Kenji Yamamoto's score? Or am I imagining this?

I agree with DBGT, it really needs the Kai treatment. The original DBGT dub is horrid.

My first exposure to DB was when Toonami first showed the Freeza saga, so I had no knowledge of the series.

-Krillin was also Goku's son.
-Janemba(final form) was Mr. Satan
-Goku and Vegeta were related
-Dende and Piccolo were related and Nail
-Bulma was in love with Goku

I've always been curious about this. In the period from the ending of DBGT 1997, to 2009, when DB Kai was introduced, how were kids in Japan introduced to Dragonball?

Is Dragonball common knowledge in Japan like Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny are here(America)?

For the record, Toriyama says in Daizenshuu 4 that he thought up the idea of Piccolo being an alien when God was introduced to the story, so it's not simply a case of Toriyama having not planned that far ahead.

This has been bothering me since I've been watching DB Kai. Why didn't Radditz tell Piccolo he was a Namekian? Vegeta and Nappa seemed to know what one was. I'm guessing this was a decision by Toriyama not to reveal it until later?

I assume best case scenario, they'll go through all 35 previously-aired episodes again and just continue on from there.

So, does flipping the channel and seeing Raditz blabber on symbolize disappointing reruns for anyone else? First Z years back, now Kai too. XD

Kind of off-topic but why does everyone always use Cowboy Bebop as an example of a good dub that surpasses the original? I mean, come on, nearly all of Bandai's dubs are just that good, Outlaw Star comes to mind.

Anyway, I don't expect English VAs to sound just like their Japanese counterparts ...

I'm still amazed they translated Dragon Soul, because frankly, some of the lyrics translate weird
