"Buu and Buu Inside of Buu" is the five hundred and seventh chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1995 #12 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Summary

Vegeta says he had also seen this from the afterlife, and explains to Goku that this fat Buu had been turned into chocolate and eaten. Goku wonders if the other people who were turned into chocolate and eaten are in here somewhere, too. Suddenly a voice comes from behind them. "They're not. He alone received special treatment." The two turn in horror to see that the Buu they're inside has formed within himself, and Vegeta wonders how that's possible. Buu doesn't know why they weren't absorbed, but he's mad they've disconnected all the other absorbed people. Vegeta thinks is bad. Goku says that's why they should have kept the Potara and fused again outside for an easy victory. Buu is pleased to hear they can't fuse again, and Vegeta tells Goku he's an idiot for saying that. Buu forms a full body and prepares to fight, so the two of them turn Super Saiyan.

Goku threatens to blow a huge hole in Buu's body, but Buu is unconcerned, and so Goku does so. Meanwhile, Dende approaches with Satan and the puppy, and says he can feel Majin Buu's ki. Satan wonders what he means about Majin Buu's "tree". They quickly duck behind some bushes, and watch as Buu is standing motionless on top of a cliff, and wonder why his form has changed back. Inside, Goku's blast was ineffective. Buu explains that he felt a little something in his head, since they're all the size of fleas. Goku says they'll have to find another way to defeat him, but Buu says that's impossible.

Vegeta has another idea though. He asks Buu what would happen if he cut this other Buu's pod free, wondering whether Buu would revert back to the fat one or the thin one. Either way, his power will certainly drop. Buu begs him to stop, and says, "I won't be me!!" Goku wonders what he means by that, while Vegeta is quite intrigued to find out now. Buu rushes at Vegeta, but Vegeta cuts the pod free first. The inner Buu collapses, and oozes away, as the outer Buu begins screaming in agony. Vegeta says they need to grab everyone and get out of here, and so they carry two pods each, leaving the Buu pod is behind, and fly through Buu until they come to one of the steam holes in Buu's head. Outside, they all return to normal size, but everyone else is still unconscious. Buu still hasn't noticed their escape, as Dende is impressed they rescued the absorbed people. Buu begins bulking up, and Goku points out that his ki is actually increasing now.

-Goku feels weird about Buu's change, but Vegeta says he's not done yet, he's still changing. Kaiōshin begins freaking out when he realizes that Buu is reverting. Buu finally stops yelling, and has shrunk down to a small, child-like form. Goku and Vegeta figure this runt should be no problem. Kaiōshin can't believe it, and Old Kaiōshin wants to know what exactly is going on. "In my time, there were five Kaiōshin... Until the Mage Bibidi's creation, Majin Buu, defeated us... I was the youngest and least powerful, but somehow I was saved, with merely a severe injury... But, four were taken by Buu's hand... First, two were killed. North Kaiōshin and West Kaiōshin. ...And then, there was the toughest and strongest, South Kaiōshin. ...Somehow he was absorbed by Buu."

He was a failure that Bibidi himself couldn't even handle, but once Dai Kaiōshin was absorbed, it seems he became able to control him." Old Kaiōshin assumes that this must be the original, very first, and most troublesome Buu. "Yes. ...He had gained a heart because of the absorptions, which got to the point that it reduced his power, and so now he has once again reverted back to his original form. Absolutely without self-control and mind... An incarnation of evil itself..."

Vegeta quickly fires his own blast to knock it away, just in the nick of time. Goku is shocked Buu did that, and thanks Vegeta. Vegeta thinks Buu would've blown himself up with that, but Goku says that Buu can restore himself even when he's been busted into tiny pieces. Vegeta challenges Buu, saying he should come and fight them, but Buu just ignores him, and then makes a wicked grin. Buu creates a large energy ball over his head, and Goku says there's no way they can deflect something that huge. Old Kaiōshin tells Kaiōshin to go give his Potara to them. Goku begs Buu to stop, and tries to convince him that fighting them is better than blowing up the Earth.

-Goku calls Vegeta over and says he'll use ''Shunkan-Idō'' with everyone. Goku suddenly spots Dende, Mister Satan, and the puppy, all with pitiful faces, and so he flies down and grabs them. There's no time to get the others though, and Goku realizes there's not even time to teleport away. Suddenly, Kaiōshin appears, and takes their hands. Vegeta notices Piccolo, Gohan, Trunks, and Goten still on the ground. In a flash, the Earth explodes. But, Kaiōshin arrives in the Kaiōshin Realm with Goku, Vegeta, Satan, Dende, and the puppy. The old guy celebrates that they made it in time, but Goku says they weren't in time to save the Earth or Gohan and the others. Satan wonders if this is Heaven. "Damn you, Kakarrot... Why the Hell did you save these guys and the dog over Trunks and the others...?!"
