In Dragon Ball chapter 431, Kuririn explains to Son Goku that he and Artificial Human No. 18 live together on the Turtle Hermit's island with their daughter. In Daizenshū 7, when asked how Kuririn and No. 18 ended up getting married, Akira Toriyama responds-
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods was originally supposed to portray the wedding between the two, as the film's scriptwriter Yūsuke Watanabe explains in an interview with "DVD & Blu-ray Vision"-There was a lot that happened during those seven years. For No. 18, Kuririn was a type of person she’d never met before: earnest and straightforward. Little by little, she was drawn in by that. In my mind, their love story is pretty well-established; and with Bulma and Vegeta, as well. However, I would absolutely never draw it in the comic. I mean, it’s really, really embarrassing. I’ll let my friend Masakazu Katsura-kun handle love stories like that.
I thought I’d do a story where the enemy appears at a party on Earth when Goku’s not there, and there’d be big trouble; in the original plot, I wrote Kuririn and No. 18’s wedding, but in the story that came back from Toriyama-sensei, it had changed to Bulma’s birthday party. I think, with regards to Kuririn and No. 18’s wedding, it’s probably something that he wants all the fans to imagine for themselves.
