K-215 is the Kanzenshuu catalogue number assigned to an unreleased piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenlong. The film premiered at Toei Manga Matsuri on 20 December 1986.

Overview

K-215 is in the key of F Minor, but it ends on an augmented triad (C+).

This BGM is frequently split into two separate tracks, and they are entitled "Free-Falling" and "Goku In The River-Bulma Wets Herself" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions. A brief missing beat between the two sections of K-215 might contribute to the separation. Without an official release, it is impossible to determine whether they were composed as separate BGM or as one; however, since Kikuchi composed film scores to scene, they were almost certainly meant to be used consecutively, and the flow of composition reflects this fact in this particular case.

K-215 accompanies scenes mirroring similar scenes in Dragon Ball Episode 1 which were accompanied by K-20 and K-21. The beginning of K-215 is similar to K-20, which also ends on an augmented chord; both feature a descending chromatic pattern.
