The Dragon Ball Super Universe Survival Arc Support Book is a small, eight-page pamphlet (two loose A3-sized folded pages) printed on a dull paper stock distributed for free at Japanese book stores in Summer/Fall 2017[1] in support of the Dragon Ball Super television series' "Universe Survival Arc".
The 応援 (ōen) in the pamphlet's title refers to the "cheering" that one might do in support of a team, playing on the fact that it is both a marketing tool for the series, as well as a way for readers and fans to learn more about the different universes and characters to root for in the story — the front page specifically calls out (in a faux-emergency update splash from Kaiōshin) for readers to cheer on Son Goku and the others during the tournament. The front page also notes that one of the paper sheets is reading material, while the other is a poster and board game.
Although this pamphlet does contain the English word "book" in its title, it is not a guide book on the same level as something like the Daizenshuu (or even the Dragon Ball Super: Super Start Guide), and is often erroneously referred to and described as such — it is instead more akin to a children's activity booklet.
The pamphlet does not have any ISBN-style or otherwise unique, specific numbering or catalogue information.

The Universe Survival Arc Support Book was put together by Tokyo-based design agency AFTERGLOW with the following key credits noted on the company's website:[2]

Page 1 is the front cover.
Pages 2-3 — on the flipside of the front and back cover, hued blue — contain brief tidbits about the 12 universes, some of the god hierarchy and related characters, and an overview of some of the characters' most relevant transformations and special attacks. It also includes additional activity suggestions like one where the reader is instructed to color a specific numbered portion (or portions) of the Omni-King once a day, akin to a daily training regimen like Son Goku would undertake.
Page 4 is the back cover, showcasing the breadth of characters introduced for the story arc on top of the tournament arena.
The inside four pages are not numbered, and are printed on a separate, folded sheet of paper. These pages include a children's "board game" to play with dice following alongside the outside of the pages, while the flipside goes into more detail naming and categorizing all of the different fighters across the various competing universes,
