The Dragon Ball Z Funimation Fullscreen Blu-rays are individual "season"[a] re-releases of Funimation's 30th Anniversary Collector's Edition remaster of Dragon Ball Z, the first complete release of Dragon Ball Z on Blu-ray with the original 4:3 (fullscreen) aspect ratio.

The seasons were released individually in limited-edition steelbooks in the United States between 03 November 2020 and 02 March 2021. The steelbooks were later released in the United Kingdom and then Australia along with a standard slipcase edition.

Season 9 of the Collector's Edition has five discs, but Season 9 of the individual releases only has four discs; all of the extras from Disc 5 were excluded from this edition. The excluded features were all originally released on Season 9 of Funimation's widescreen Blu-rays (16:9 aspect ratio), with the exception of "Celebrities Talk: 30 Years of Dragon Ball Z", which was exclusive to the Collector's Edition.

Notes

  1. Funimation's "seasons" are arbitrary distinctions and largely unknown in the rest of the world, including in Japan.
