Overview
- For further information, see Dragon Ball Music.
C3 is a fabrication of the title card music for Dragon Ball using C2B-2 and a gong. The actual title card music used in Dragon Ball features a performance that is slightly slower, using a mallet on an open cymbal rather than a gong. C3 as such is part a of the suite entitled "The Strict Training of the Turtle Hermit School", which is track #14 on disc #2 of the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Daizenshuu, and the booklet notes specifically call it "the sub-title piece".
The beginning of the track features the sub-title piece, C3.
— Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Daizenshuu (2:14a)
C3 was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-24 based on its placement in the series.
