M720 is the official catalogue number of a piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for the Dragon Ball Z anime in 1989. The piece debuted in Dragon Ball Z Episode 1 which was broadcast on 26 April 1989.

Overview

M720 is the second iteration of the Son Gohan theme in Dragon Ball Z. The full composition is part d of the suite entitled "Ah, Days of Training", which is track #11 on disc #1 of the BGM Collection. The piece was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-715 based on its placement in the series. Though it is the ninth BGM in Dragon Ball Z, it is the fifteenth BGM debuting after Dragon Ball Movie 3.

M720 is given the title "Gohan Chases The Butterfly" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions.
