K-716 is the Kanzenshuu catalogue number assigned to an unreleased piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for the Dragon Ball Z anime in 1989. The piece debuted in Dragon Ball Z Episode 1 which was broadcast on 26 April 1989.
Overview
K-716 is the third iteration of the Son Gohan theme in Dragon Ball Z. Like all Gohan-themed BGM, it is in the key of F Major, but it regularly shifts to the parallel minor, and ends on an F Minor chord in the second inversion. It is given the title "Gohan In Peril" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions.
