M801 is the official catalogue number of a piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball Z Movie 1. The film premiered at Toei Manga Matsuri on 15 July 1989.
Overview
M801 is part b of the suite entitled "Reach the Seven Dragon Balls in Time!!", which is track #9 on disc #4 of the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Daizenshuu, and track #13 on disc #1 of the Dragon Ball Z BGM Collection.
M801 is given the title "Ginger Comes For The DragonBall" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions. The piece was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-801 based on its placement in the film.
