  • Some websites list 伊藤尚住 as a different person. However, this is just a typo.
  • He is big fan of Mariko Kouda, so has used her in many of his works such as Kanon (2002), Kanon Kazahana OVA, Digimon Data Squad etc.
  • He goes into detail about what scenes he focused on Chihayafuru episodes 5 and 10 in Madhouse interviews (See External link for link to interviews).
  • Sakuga Wiki mentions that Saya Aoi (青井小夜) is his wife, however we were not able to find any source that backs up that claim.
