Masako Nozawa (born 25 October 1936) is a Japanese actress and voice actress from Tokyo, Japan. Throughout her career she has been affiliated with Production Baobab, 81 Produce, and Office Nozawa; she is currently affiliated with Aoni Production. Her husband, Masa'aki Tsukada, was also a voice actor. Her real name is Masako Tsukada (塚田 雅子), but she prefers to use her birth surname instead of her husband's. Her most notable Dragon Ball roles include Son Goku, Son Gohan, Son Goten, Bardock, Goku Black, and Tullece.

Biography

Masako Nozawa made her movie debut as a child actor at the age of three. Throughout her career as a voice actress, she has performed mostly male roles, including all three males of the Son family in the Dragon Ball franchise. On 01 April 2006, she resigned from 81 Produce to establish her own voice talent agency, Office Nozawa. In 2010, Nozawa closed her talent agency. A number of voice actors who were affiliated with Office Nozawa went on to affiliate with Media Force, while Nozawa herself affiliated with Aoni Production.
