Tomoaki Kado is an animator and animation supervisor with Frontier Engine, an animation studio contracted to animate portions of Dragon Ball Super episodes 25 and 26.[1] Kado was brought in as a freelancer to assist with episode 5, and then he served as a supervisor for Frontier Engine's work on episode 26.
Biography
Tomoaki Kado was born in Ayabe, Kyoto in 1966 and attended Ayabe High School and Tokyo Animation College.[2] He was promoted to a key animator position in 1996 on Neon Genesis Evangelion, and to animation supervisor in 2008 with Blue Dragon: Tenkai no Shichi Ryū.[3]
