Re: Toei should animate DBS exclusive manga chapters
There is a lot of materials in the manga, for them to animate. Plus they can add good filler to it, to make it longer.
How are they going to add filler to arcs that are basically composed of fanservice interspersed with filler? It sounds like the worst nightmare that could happen to any anime ...

Re: Q & A with Torishima, Toyotarou and Nakatsuru at Japan Expo.
Can you please let your opinion on Toyotarou rest?
No.
You fail to mention Toyotarou has not had a competent editor.
That doesn't change the fact that, based on these interviews, he doesn't know what he's doing.
There's plenty of people who think he's a competent story writer and ...

Re: Do you dislike the Dragon Team vs Moro goons part of the arc?
I've noticed it's a polarising segment, as people either love it or hate it.
I'd have to say personally I disliked it when first reading it because it felt like a waste of time since they're inconsequential battles we know could be resolved in a second by any of the stronger fighters, but ...

Re: Was there a place to fit another arc between Granolah and Super Hero?
In Toriyama's original manga, the daily lives of the protagonists were interrupted by exceptional situations every few years: the worst thing about DBS was to make villains appear all the time one after the other.
I'm glad they haven't shoehorned in more trash in between this last stage.

Re: Dragon Ball Daima: Episode 2 - Official Discussion Thread
I do wonder if Goku in Daima will be able to do the teleport.
He hasn't for some reason in Episode 2.
Speaking of... Why can't they just... use Shin's teleport to go straight to Gomah?
Shin can teleport anywhere, without any need to sense Ki.
I think you need to pay more attention to the ...

I understand that it is something totally subjective, but I can't believe all these pacing comments.

Re: Is the split explanation of the Potara fusion in Daima a Ret-Con or not?
Yes.
And it just creates too much headaches.
1) Why did Kibitoshin stay fused 4 years if he hated it?
2) Why did he use the Namekian Dragon Balls to unfuse? Was Boo asleep?
3) Why didn't Goku ask Shin in the U6 arc about them using Boo instead of the balls to defuse?
4) Why did Goku ask Gowasu ...

I couldn't care less about animated blood, but hopefully this time we'll see a lot of red drops so we can stop talking about it in forums:
It's a constant complaint that exhausts me.
Count on my pro-blood vote!

Clearly the opponent's level can be adjusted to what the story requires. I just didn't want transformations.JulieYBM wrote: Wed Sep 04, 2024 12:00 am Transformations do not instant victory make. Gokuu can still struggle through fights designed to be a struggle. It's fiction, you can do whatever.

Re: Anyone else disappointed with the whole new cell max, gohan beast, orange piccolo etc
I've always found Son Gohan Beast, Power Awakening Piccolo, and Orange Piccolo to be the worst DB transformations ever, along with most transformations from DBS. These transformations have been pulled out of nowhere and have never been explained.
Cell Max is just a dumber version of Cell and is ...

No one would call the DBS anime "groundbreaking", but at the end of the day it was decent promotion for the manga and the films.

I hope there won't be any kind of transformation: I want an adventure and story that can be solved out of the most repetitive and boring structure of the franchise.
