I have never seen a non-terribly pathetic dub of an anime show ever! I can only stand Dragon Ball Z (Only Z) Dubbed, because I grew up with it and I see the original Japanese version and American version of two completely different identities.

I don't think anyone's actually trying to send ideas (I'm not expecting my two jokes to be in the next episode). It's just fun to try to make jokes and see if other people think they're funny.

I've always just ignored Vegeta saying that (intellectually dishonest, I know). It makes it easier for me to just cling to the idea that only Saiyan children can regrow their tails (explaining why Goku was able to regrow his in GT).

And no company would ever get away with doing the kind of horrendous work you'll find in those scanslations. I don't follow Viz' OP release (Carlsen's Danish translations are far far ahead of them), but I did flip through a volume at Barnes and Noble once, and it seemed decent enough.
