Planet 448 is one of the planets under the control of the remnants of the Freeza Force led by Sorbet. The planet is only mentioned in episode 18 of the Dragon Ball Super television series, which premiered on Fuji TV in Japan on 08 November 2015.
Overview
Planet 448 was guarded by the elite of the Freeza Force, but these soldiers are not enough to contain the native rebellion. Sorbet is unable to send reinforcements because of rebellions breaking out all over the empire.[1] These rebellions lead to the resurrection of Freeza.[2]
Name
Though it uses the same 惑星 (wakusei) prefix, as opposed to Planet Freeza No. 79 whose name in Japanese is spoken aloud with the English reading of "seventy-nine", Planet 448 is spoken aloud with the Japanese number reading of wakusei yonhyaku yon-ju hachi.
In its one instance of being spoken aloud, Freeza's name is also not spoken in its title; this may be implied and obvious to the Freeza Force discussing it.
