Yago is a planet in Universe 6. It is only mentioned once, in Dragon Ball Super Episode 29, which premiered on 31 January 2016. It is not mentioned in the Dragon Ball Super manga.

While preparing the "Nameless Planet" for the upcoming God of Destruction Invitational Tournament, Vados has Champa drink some juice made from the "Niga-Niga Vegetable of Planet Yago".

Name

Yago (ヤーゴ yāgo) is likely a rearrangement of the word gōya (ゴーヤ), the Okinawan term used for extremely bitter tropical fruit momordica charantia native to many Asian countries. The "Niga-Niga" vegetable is likely a pun on nigauri ("bitter melon"), the Japanese word for the very same fruit. The Okinawan term gōya is now commonly used nationally across Japan to describe the bitter fruit.
