K-408 is the Kanzenshuu catalogue number assigned to an unreleased piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball: The Sleeping Princess in the Devil's Castle. The film premiered at Tōei Manga Matsuri on 18 July 1987.
Overview
K-408 accompanies the scene where Muten Rōshi gives instructions to his new students, Goku and Kuririn, in Dragon Ball Movie 2. The piece contains a clear reference to M16, which accompanied the beginning of their training in the original anime.[1] K-408 is given the title "Kame Sennin Points Them South" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[2] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions.
