G13 is the official catalogue number of a piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for the Dragon Ball anime in 1986. The piece debuted in Dragon Ball Episode 3 which was broadcast on 12 March 1986.
Overview
The full composition is part c of the suite entitled "The Mystery of the Dragon Balls", which is track #05 on both the Ongakushū record and disc #2 of the Daizenshuu.
The third piece is G13, which was used (among others) in scenes where Goku & co. push ahead into a den of evil. Then, the mystery reaches its climax, and this track reaches the peak of its tension.

G13 is given the title "Awaiting Destruction" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions. The piece was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-41 based on its placement in the series.
