K-203 is the Kanzenshuu catalogue number assigned to an unreleased piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenlong. The film premiered at Toei Manga Matsuri on 20 December 1986.
Overview
K-203 is the first post-prologue BGM used in Dragon Ball Movie 1, and it introduces Gourmeth's Theme, the very first of Kikuchi's Dragon Ball film leitmotifs. The theme is used in seventeen known BGM; K-203 is the first of these and the piece where the elements of the leitmotif are defined.
K-203 is given the title "The Village Is Uprooted For Rich Stones" on kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions.
