Seems that FUNimation’s English dub of DragonBall Z is popping up in TV scheduling guides for airing during the upcoming week. Next Friday would be a good day to actually tune in — that will be the day we see whether or not dubbed episode ten (the now infamous “Escape From Piccolo” episode) will be aired in syndication this time around. If you are new to the series or this particular version of the show, this episode was dubbed back in 1996, but was not shown during the original syndication airing, presumably because FUNimation and/or Saban deemed it to not be in good taste for “free television.” Only time will tell this time around.
