WOW! I can't believe yet again FUNi is releasing yet another DBZ set and they still can't get it right. So glad I bought the Dragon Boxes back in 2009 and they were $40-$45 a piece but so worth it.

You'd think FUNi would've learn how to handle this but same old FUNi. :roll:

You guys do know that Super on Toonami only has the 1st 27 episodes only. Once that's done, there's probably gonna be a break or some time before Toonami gets the Universe 6 Tournament & the Future Trunks / Zamasu arc.

I would say I hated FUNi's DBZ voice actors back in 1999 when they started but the voices have improved a lot over the years. I'd say it got better when they began DBZ Kai. Vegeta's voice compared to DBZ and now Kai / Super is way better. Same goes for Piccolo too. The only ones I can't stand is ...

I had no idea there was 2 openings to this arc. I was expecting Ku-Zen-Zetsu-Go and then I hear this odd opening I've never seen or heard.

I'll give it some time to grow on me.

That was a Japanese-only opening for a completely different version of Kai's Boo Arc. The international release has different openings and endings, as well as more episodes.

I gotta say, it brought a huge smile on my face when I heard Super's intro in Japanese last night and the ending theme too! That's how you do it FUNi. Just leave the opening/ending themes alone.

I couldn't stand hearing the English cast from 12 years ago. But since Kai and the 2 new movies, the voices are way better now!!

Don't want to start a flame war but I really hate FUNimation's version of DBZ. Bruce Falcouner score, the dialogue, everything. I'm more towards the original Japanese version which gives me more of a great feel of the series.

Only exception is DB Kai from FUNi was well done in English.

I think FUNi censored General Blue's sexuality but I can confirm after watching the Spanish (Mexican) version of DragonBall, they too censored Blue's sexuality. There were moments but they managed to change his dialogue and cut some scenes too.

Finally got my hands on this Christmas décor!

I don't like the way they treat Piccolo in Super. I mean, he was once a threat and such an important, strong character of the series and now he's just like Yamcha, Tien, Gohan and Krillin. Nothing but a weakling and now used for comic refilef at times.

Last year I made it my mission to watch DragonBall and the 4 movies and I did. Afterwards, I felt like owning the entire DragonBall series.

My 1st exposure to the series was back around 1996 or 1997 when the Ocean Dub was dubbing the series and it used to air here on before Kids WB world start on Saturday mornings. They used to air it on at around 5:50 or 6 AM Saturday mornings.

Wow! International Channel. That takes me back. It was the 1st time I watched DBZ in Japanese in 1998. I still have episodes 85-101 on VHS recorded off of International Channel.

You probably got these from the 2nd run of the series since I.C. ran the show from Japan but on their network.
