"Heeheehee, I’m so scary, I’m so scary~ Here I go, okay~ I’m really quite scary~", says the ghost. Buu is just confused, while Piccolo wonders what the Hell this is. Gotenks says Buu is dead now, and commands the ghost to do it. The ghost flies straight at Buu, and Buu easily backhands it. But, upon impact, the ghost explodes. Buu is all messed up, his body looking really contorted, and Gotenks excitedly explains that even slightly touching the ghost creates a huge explosion. Piccolo yells to hurry and finish off Buu. "Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack Ten-Ghosts-Together Finish!!!!" Gotenks spits out ten ghosts, all of which goof off a bit. Gotenks tells them to all fall in line, and face forward. Two of the ghosts begin arguing, and Gotenks yells at them to obey. Each ghost then shouts out their a number.
[[Gotenks]] insists he has not gotten serious yet, but he will show [[Boo]] what he can really do now. Gotenks rushes at Boo and proceeds to unleash numerous ridiculously named generic attacks. Irritated, Boo backhands Gotenks and sends him flying, and [[Piccolo]] puts his hands over his eyes in disgust. Gotenks says Boo is very tough, but insists he had calculated that. Boo says he is very weak, so this is no fun and he will just kill him now. Gotenks mutters that Boo just does not understand what is going on at all... Now Boo will regret having made him angry! "[[Super Saiyan]]!!!!!" Piccolo is amazed he is now able to become a Super Saiyan after [[Fusion]].


Piccolo interrupts him, saying that Majin Buu has already returned to normal. Gotenks is ticked off that Buu’s taking all this so lightly, just sitting there drinking cream soda (and reading a car magazine). Gotenks calls him out, and so Buu stands up with his soda. Gotenks sends #1 and #2 at Buu, but Buu flies up at the last second, and the ghosts crash into each other. Buu sticks his tongue out and says he won’t fall for the same trick twice. Gotenks calls for a huddle with the ghosts, and once they have a new plan, two ghosts high five each other and blow each other up. Gotenks says because of those two stupid ghosts, everyone but #10 should go along with the plan. Five of the ghosts fly at Buu, who readies himself, but then the ghosts stop and gather around something on the ground. The ghosts loudly wonder what this weird thing is, and Buu curiously creeps over to look at it. The five of them then jump at Buu, exploding and leaving Buu a gooey mess once again. Gotenks tells #10 to finish it by blowing up in Buu’s mouth, which #10 does, and boom! Gotenks strikes a cool looking pose and gives two victory signs, saying it’s all over.
Gotenks says he will end this, but wonders which of his many techniques to use. Boo will die in one shot from this, but oh well. "[[Galactica Donut]]!!!!" Gotenks forms a small ring of ''[[Ki|ki]]'', and sends it to hover above Boo. He widens the ring, lowers it to surround Boo, and then finally collapses the ring tight around Boo. Piccolo is really excited to see this technique work, as Boo screams, struggling to get free. Boo suddenly stops screaming, jokingly says "Not", and easily busts free. Gotenks is baffled, as Boo flies over toward him. Gotenks jumps over Boo's attack, but Boo kicks him high into the air, and then flies up with him. Boo backflips and kicks Gotenks toward the ground, and then dives down after him. Gotenks kicks off the ground, heading back up toward Boo. The two collide in mid-air with a massive headbutt. Boo is finally hurt, but so is Gotenks, who gives Boo the middle finger. Gotenks says he will really end things now, and Piccolo starts to think he might actually do it. "Take this!!! And then disappear from this world!!! My thought-out, specialized great technique!!!! [[Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack]]!!!!" Gotenks charges up a bit, and then spits out a ghost. "Hi, I'm a ghost~"

"Gotenks' Got Loads of Confidence!!" is the four hundred and ninetieth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1994 #45 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Summary

Gotenks insists he has not gotten serious yet, but he will show Boo what he can really do now. Gotenks rushes at Boo and proceeds to unleash numerous ridiculously named generic attacks. Irritated, Boo backhands Gotenks and sends him flying, and Piccolo puts his hands over his eyes in disgust. Gotenks says Boo is very tough, but insists he had calculated that. Boo says he is very weak, so this is no fun and he will just kill him now. Gotenks mutters that Boo just does not understand what is going on at all... Now Boo will regret having made him angry! "Super Saiyan!!!!!" Piccolo is amazed he is now able to become a Super Saiyan after Fusion.
