Summary
The Kaiōshin can't believe he was absorbed, as Buu begins to laugh and curse at Vegetto, flipping him the finger. Kaiōshin thinks it's all over, while Old Kaiōshin notes that it's odd that Majin Buu hasn't powered up at all, and his form hasn't changed like before. He thinks Vegetto may have been planning something great. Buu stops his laughing, wondering why he hasn't changed. But in any case, he's now the strongest majin, and there is no one left get in his way. Buu rips off his shirt, as he laughs maniacally in shear pleasure. Meanwhile, Vegetto is somewhere inside of Buu, very annoyed at Buu's obnoxious laughter. But he's glad the barrier worked, and he wasn't absorbed. He decides he'll go ahead and down the barrier so he can start looking for Gohan and the others.
Boo cannot believe this, and Vegetto agrees, saying he cannot believe it himself either. Boo starts shaking, looking a bit constipated, and then begins spitting out little ghosts with Boo's head. Boo announces the Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack and Vegetto recognizes it as the absorbed Gotenks' technique. Boo sends the ghosts toward Vegetto, but Vegetto vanishes. He reappears off to the side and throws small blasts at the ghosts, blowing them all up. Vegetto taunts Boo, saying how easy that was since the technique was thought up by a kid. Boo screams in frustration, as Elder Kaiōshin wishes Vegetto would just finish the job and stop fooling around. Vegetto wants Boo to get serious, and so Boo angrily comes flying at him, saying it was unfair to fuse. Vegetto comments that Boo has fused with lots of people, as he holds off Boo's strikes with only his feet.

The Kaiōshin notice what Vegetto has done, and think it's a great idea. Vegetto drops his barrier, and he suddenly splits back into Goku and Vegeta. Goku wonders how this is possible, since it was supposed to be a permanent fusion, but Vegeta is just glad to be separate again. He won't fuse with Kakarrot a second time, and takes off his Potara. Goku scolds him, since they can probably fuse again once they exit Buu. Goku thinks it must be the bad atmosphere within Buu that's doing this. Vegeta smirks and crushes his Potara. Goku says that not only can they not fuse again, but since Vegeta is dead, he'll have to return to the afterlife now. Vegeta would prefer that to fusing with him again.
Dende is flying along, holding Satan, and Dende can hear the sounds of the battle off in the distance. Back at the battle, Vegetto kicks Boo square in the face, and Boo glares back at him in disgust. Vegetto tells Boo that he cannot win at all, but Boo smirks, asking if he likes coffee candy. Boo suddenly zaps Vegetto, and he becomes a candy ball. Boo holds the candy in his hand and gleefully laughs. Kaiōshin cannot believe this, while Elder Kaiōshin yells at those idiots for goofing around too much. Boo holds the candy ball out in a fist, saying he has finally done it, but then he suddenly punches himself in the face. He drops the candy from his fist, and it floats there talking to him. Vegetto says his strength has not changed, and proclaims himself the strongest candy ball in the universe. On top of that, he is smaller, and harder to hit now. The Vegetto candy ball flies at Boo, hitting him in the stomach and face. Boo swats at him, but keeps missing, as the ball repeatedly slams into him, knocking Boo around.

Vegeta doubts they need to fuse again anyway, but Goku says they don't know that. Vegeta says in that case, they'd better hope they find Gohan and the others. Vegeta walks off, saying they should hurry before Buu blows up the Earth. Goku crushes his own Potara and follows. Seeing them destroy the Potara, the Kaiōshin begin freaking out. Vegeta then calls Goku over, as he's found Piccolo. He's trapped inside this little pod connected to the lining of Buu's innards. Goku then notices Gohan, Trunks, and Goten. Back outside, Buu thinks he'll celebrate by destroying the Earth. Vegeta notes that the youngsters have lost their fusion, too, but Goku says it was just the thirty minute time limit of Fusion. Besides, Buu obviously had the characteristics of Gotenks before. Goku then realizes it means they could do Fusion in here, too. Vegeta thinks instead they should just hurry and get out of here.
Vegetto then flies through Boo's mouth and out the back of his head, cutting off a chunk of his forelock. Boo finally concedes and returns Vegetto back to normal. The Kaiōshin really hope Vegetto will stop goofing around. Vegetto supposes he should finally end this, so he will give Boo until the count of ten. "1... 2... 3... 4..." Thinking to himself, Vegetto hopes Boo will hurry up and realize something. "5..." Boo thinks he has to absorb him, but how... He remembers his piece of forelock that was cut off by the candy, and suddenly turns it into a blob. "7... 8..." Vegetto is glad he has finally realized it, thinking how he cut that piece off on purpose. "9..." Vegetto hopes this will work. "10!!" The blob starts to envelop Vegetto, but he quickly puts up a barrier. Boo brings the blob back to himself, absorbing it into his body, and is pleased with his idea.

Goku and Vegeta start cutting everyone's pods free, and Buu suddenly reverts to looking like Piccolo. He suddenly realizes what's happening, but it's too late and he has regressed all the way back to his pre-absorption form. Goku notes that Buu's power has dropped, and the size of his ki is much different. Vegeta thinks they should bust their way out now, but Goku insists they still can't contest Buu's strength. They'll be killed for sure if they go outside. Vegeta asks what they should do then. Goku wishes he hadn't destroyed the Potara, but there's still one more method. Vegeta had seen Fusion from the afterlife, and refuses to do those ridiculous poses. Plus, he said he would never fuse with Kakarrot again. Suddenly though, they notice another pod. Inside of it is the good Buu that had befriended Mister Satan, and Goku thinks they should cut him free. However, they don't notice the Buu that has appeared behind them...
