Vegeta is standing over the floor panel, and thinks if he destroys this, he can get in Babidi's spaceship. And if he destroys the spaceship, he could quickly find Majin Buu's location. He says Gohan's ''ki'' has already vanished, and takes the blame for it. Meanwhile, Trunks and Goten are watching on as Buu dances around saying he's going to eat Dabra. Dabra prepares to attack Buu, but Buu bends forward, says, "Turn into a cookie!", and shoots a magical beam at Dabra. What's left is a large Dabra-shaped cookie, which Buu picks up and eats whole. Trunks and Goten are shocked, and Kuririn suddenly returns to normal. He wonders how the boys are here, and Trunks says he had just been stone.
Buu lands on the ground next to the now tattered Kaiōshin, and Babidi tells him to kill him. Kaiōshin tries using his telekinetic powers again, but Buu resists and does something similar, although his sends Kaiōshin flying across the ground. Buu flies after him and lands sitting right on Kaiōshin's back. Babidi taunts Kaiōshin, and thinks he'll deliver the finish himself. Gohan suddenly flies in and kicks Buu in the face, making Buu cartwheel off to the side. Gohan's footprint is stuck in Buu's face, but he simply pops it back out and his face returns to normal. Gohan can't believe he isn't reacting to the damage at all. Buu says, "You're in the way. Get lost!" Gohan readies a punch, but Buu fires a huge ''ki'' ball that pushes Gohan off into the distance. Kaiōshin telekinetically makes the blast explode, and Gohan starts falling back down to the ground.

Kuririn remembers that the horned guy spat on him, and Goten thinks it must've been the guy who was just eaten. Trunks figures Kuririn returned to normal since he died, and then Trunks runs off. Kuririn asks why, and Goten says Trunks broke the Piccolo figure. Trunks freaks out that Piccolo is still in pieces, although not stone now. Trunks goes back to the others and wants to keep this a secret, but then Piccolo asks, "Keep what a secret?" Piccolo then ducks as he feels a terrifying ''ki'', realizing it must be Majin Buu. Trunks asks him how he returned to normal, and Piccolo explains that he can regenerate so long as his head is undamaged. Piccolo wants to know what's going on, but the boys don't really know either. Kuririn starts to get really scared of Buu.
Kaiōshin begs Gohan to stay alive, and Babidi asks him if he did something just now. Gohan lands in a forest, out cold. Babidi tells Buu he can finish off Kaiōshin now. Buu says he's hungry, and wants to eat him. Suddenly, a spear flies through Buu's back, piercing him all the way through his stomach. It's Dabra, and Babidi asks him what he's doing. Trunks and Goten are nearby, so they land on a mountain and return to normal to hide their ''ki''. They try to figure out who's who, recognizing Kaiōshin as the weird guy from the Budōkai. But then Goten spots the Piccolo's stone figure, so the boys go over to it to investigate. Trunks begins knocking on it a little, when Piccolo tips over and shatters. The boys freak out and run away.

Babidi tells Buu to eat Kaiōshin also, and Piccolo is shocked to see Kaiōshin on the ground all weakened like that. Kuririn tells Piccolo to calm down, as there's nothing even he can do to stand up to someone like that. Buu wonders what he'll turn Kaiōshin into, maybe chocolate, maybe jelly. But before Buu can do anything, there's suddenly an explosion in the background. Vegeta has blown up Babidi's ship, with the explosion shooting up through the ground (since the ship had been underground). Babidi wonders what happened, until Vegeta emerges from the smoke. Trunks is happy to see him, but Babidi is livid. Vegeta thinks this unconventional and stupid-looking guy must be Majin Buu, and he's still mad he killed Gohan. Piccolo is shocked to hear this. Buu wonders what ‘unconvential' means, and Babidi says basically he has a weird face.
Meanwhile, Dabra insists that Majin Buu can't be controlled and won't be a faithful servant, but Babidi is insulted he'd speak that way about his Majin Buu. Buu pulls out the spear, and the hole it left in his belly quickly heals up. Buu tells Dabra, "I'm gonna eat you up..."

Buu is angry now, and shoots steam out of his head. He says he's gonna kill Vegeta, and Babidi tells him to go ahead. Kuririn notices that the monster's ''ki'' is getting even larger. Vegeta says, "I'm not going to Hell alone. I'll bring you bastards along for the ride.", and Kaiōshin realizes that Vegeta intends to die. Vegeta powers up a bit and rushes toward Buu. Before Buu can react, Vegeta lands a destructive kick and then follows it up with a punch to the face, sending him flying.
