Before Age is the fictional era in the timeline of the Dragon Ball franchise consisting of all events prior to Age 1.
Major Events

| Approximately 5 Million Years Ago | Majin Boo is believed to have been created by the sorcerer Bibbidi. Over the years, Boo destroys hundreds of planets. Four of the five Kaiōshin are killed by Boo. Bibbidi seals Boo in a ball and brings him to Earth. On Earth, Shin kills Bibbidi and leaves the sealed Boo on Earth.[note 3] |

Series Coverage
Largely, this era is not directly portrayed in any Dragon Ball media. Events during this era are only referred to or shown briefly in flashback.
- The Elder Kaioshin's Potara fusion is portrayed in Dragon Ball chapter XXX and Dragon Ball Z episode XXX.
- Majin Boo's initial rampage is depicted in Dragon Ball Z episode XXX.
