I found a Honda Monkey M from 17 years ago in Kyoto!! I'm overwhelmed with emotion <Akira>
The Honda Monkey Z50M was a mini-motorbike produced from model years 1967 to 1969. The "Monkey" line itself continues to be produced as part of Honda's 50cc mini-bike series. 17 years prior to 1984 would be 1967, so it's probably one of the earliest models. At 50cc, Toriyama could legally ride it with his mopeds-only motorcycle license.
