"Dragon Ball 17" is the seventeenth "Perfect Edition" (kanzenban) volume of the Japanese manga series Dragon Ball. This volume comprises chapters 240 thru 254 as originally serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump, 1989 #40 to 1990 #03/04, and retains their original color artwork. The volume's cover illustration was drawn by Akira Toriyama exclusively for this release, which was also included in the volume as an insert poster.
Insert Pamphlet
The first edition printing of this volume came packaged with a special "Dragon Ball Information" promotional insert pamphlet. The outside of the pamphlet promoted various Dragon Ball goods that were currently for sale, along with upcoming releases, while the inside featured a "Dragon Ball Children" tribute image drawn by manga artist Mikio Itō (Normandy Himitsu Club).
