M16 is the official catalogue number of a piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for the Dragon Ball anime in 1986. The piece debuted in Dragon Ball Episode 17 which was broadcast on 18 June 1986.

Overview

M16 is referenced by K-408 in Dragon Ball Movie 2, officially rendering M16 a Son Goku-Kuririn-themed piece, as K-408 accompanies a scene that reimagines their early training. M16 also references the opening song (OP) Mystical Adventure!, which is itself used as a Goku leitmotif throughout Dragon Ball.

The piece largely centers on the key of F Major, but it begins and ends in the relative minor, D Minor. The full composition is part c of the suite entitled "The 21st Tenka'ichi Budōkai", which is track #15 on disc #2 of the Daizenshuu.

M16 is given the title "Milk Delivery" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions. The piece was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-109 based on its placement in the series.
