K-246 is the Kanzenshuu catalogue number assigned to an unreleased piece of background music (BGM) arranged by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenlong. The film premiered at Toei Manga Matsuri on 20 December 1986.

Overview

K-246 an arrangement of Dragon Ball's opening theme (OP), "Mystical Adventure!". Rather than the usual F Minor of the OP, K-246 is arranged in D Minor, and it ends on a C⁷ chord, the dominant of F. D Minor is the relative minor of F Major, which is the setting of the Turtle Hermit theme present in both K-245 and K-247.

K-246 is given the title "Departing The Island" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant, the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions.
