K-247 is the Kanzenshuu catalogue number assigned to an unreleased piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball: The Legend of Shenlong. The film premiered at Toei Manga Matsuri on 20 December 1986.

Overview

K-247 is the fourth iteration of the Turtle Hermit's theme in Dragon Ball Movie 1. The structure of the theme is recognizable but a bit looser than other Hermit-themed BGM. This one might also contain a short reference to I17 about eleven seconds into the track; however the melodic turn in question is not extremely unique, and it might be a coincidence. K-247 is given the title "Kame Sennin Speaks Of Friends" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions.
