M806 is the official catalogue number of a piece of background music (BGM) composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi for Dragon Ball Z Movie 1. The film premiered at Toei Manga Matsuri on 15 July 1989.
Overview
M806 constitutes the film's Shenlong theme, but it is mixed with the third iteration of Garlic Jr.'s theme. The full composition is part a of the suite entitled "Dragon Ball Z", which is track #7 on disc #5 of the Dragon Ball & Dragon Ball Z Daizenshuu and track #18 on disc #1 of the Dragon Ball Z BGM Collection.
M806 is given the title "Garlic Jr. Summons Shen Long" on The Suburbs of kenisu's Magicant,[1] the most common source for fan titles of Kikuchi's compositions. The piece was assigned the Kanzenshuu catalogue number of K-805 based on its placement in the film.
