Summary
Summary
Cell's right arm and a huge portion of his torso are missing, and he can't believe this. Vegeta starts laughing, and Kuririn is excited that he actually did it. Cell starts to freak out, and Vegeta laughs even more. But then Cell smirks, and asks Vegeta if he's forgotten that he has Piccolo's blood flowing through him. Cell then regenerates his missing body parts, and Vegeta freaks out.
Vegeta has a shocked look on his face, and Cell tells him to smile. Then Cell flies over and kicks Vegeta through some mountain, but Vegeta catches himself in mid-air. Cell says their difference is too great, so the fight will be boring. Trunks is getting pissed, and Kuririn says he should go help Vegeta or he really will die. Trunks says he will wait until his dad is unconscious, so he will not notice. Kuririn says he might get killed before he goes unconscious. No. 16 prepares to attack Cell from behind, but Cell tells him not to do anything pointless. Cell doubts he could do anything anyway, since he is just junk now. Vegeta is panting, but he holds his arms out and starts powering up. He brings his arms in, with the hands facing out in a clutching motion. The whole area is shaking like crazy with Vegeta powering up.

Cell stretches his new arm, and says he'll kill Vegeta now. He walks over toward Vegeta, who desperately fires a whole bunch of little blasts at him. When the smoke clears, Cell is undamaged, and he punches Vegeta, knocking him down. Vegeta starts to get up, but then Cell kicks him up into the air. Cell then gets up into the air behind him, and elbows Vegeta down into the ground. Vegeta hits hard, face first, and then loses Super Saiyan, returning to normal.
Vegeta yells at Cell that no matter how much he says he has reached his perfect form, he is still too much of a coward to take this attack head on. Cell just smirks, while Trunks says his dad is trying to goad Cell into letting himself get hit. Kuririn wonders if Vegeta plans to blow up the Earth with this technique. Cell does prepare to take it head on, while Trunks asks his dad to please stop. Kuririn tells Trunks they need to run away, and Vegeta screams, "FINAL FLASH!!!!!" He unleashes a huge blast directly at Cell, and Cell starts to look worried at the last second. The blast is so great that it shoots out into space. Trunks and Kuririn got off the island in time, and they think Vegeta really did it. Vegeta powers down, while Cell is standing there with a huge chunk of his body missing. Vegeta says, "That's what you get!!"

Kuririn thinks he must be unconscious, or maybe dead... Cell laughs about how Vegeta is stubbornly still alive. Kuririn tells Trunks now he has to do it, but Trunks says he knows, and he's already powering up. Trunks starts bulking up a lot, and Kuririn freaks out at his power.

"Vegeta's Stubborn Secret Plan" is the three hundred and eighty-fourth chapter of the Dragon Ball manga series by Akira Toriyama. It was first published in Japan in the 1992 #34 issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shōnen Jump.

Summary
