Summary
The announcer informs the crowd that Videl's life is not in danger, and starts to announce the fourth match, but Gohan rushes out to ask him to wait a little bit because they're getting a special medicine for Videl. Goku then returns, with three senzu (that's all Karin had), and Gohan asks Kibito to hold on for just a bit longer while he helps Videl. Gohan goes into the medical room and tells Videl to eat this bean, but the doctor protests him giving weird food to his patients. Videl says that since it's Gohan, something strange will probably happen. Satan tells her not to listen to him and spit that out, but she chews it anyway. Gohan has to leave for his match now, and Satan thinks he'll really make that kid suffer. Videl's eyes suddenly widen and she sits up in astonishment, fully healed. She stands up, excited, while Satan and the doctor are in complete shock.
Spopovitch holds Videl up by the head, and then punches her viciously in the stomach. Then he knocks her across the ring, and she hangs just over the edge. Gohan yells at her to give up, and even the announcer insists she should, but Videl refuses. Gohan keeps protesting, saying Spopovitch does not care that she is just a girl. Videl gets back to her feet, and then kicks Spopovitch in the face, although with little effect. Spopovitch smirks, grabs Videl by the hair, and then knees her hard in the face. Videl is in complete agony as the blood drips from her mouth and nose. Spopovitch tosses her to the ground, as Shapner and Erasa are getting quite upset, while Gohan is starting to get enraged backstage.

The fourth match is about to begin, with Great Saiyaman vs Kibito. Erasa and Shapner recognize that name as Satan City's friend of justice, and their classmate looks through his binoculars and says that looks just like Son Gohan. Shapner looks through them to see for himself, and agrees. Erasa figures Gohan's just borrowing that name to compete in secret, because he is so shy. Shapner wonders if he knows how to fight, while the other kid says they should cheer for him, hopeless as it may be. "Fight, Gohan! Even though you can't win, at least pass the first round!!" Gohan realizes he's been completely exposed, and sighs as he tosses away his sunglasses.
Spopovitch starts stepping on Videl's head, and that is when Gohan completely loses it. He suddenly turns Super Saiyan, causing his bandanna to fly off, and he tears off his cape as well. But just before he can run out to put an end to it, Yamu yells at Spopovitch to stop fooling around. Yamu jumps over to the ring and says this was not what they were supposed to do, so hurry up and win. Spopovitch then drags Videl to the edge of the ring and tosses her to the ground for a ring-out. Gohan turns back to normal and rushes out to help. He picks up Videl in his arms, telling the announcer he will take her to get help, and then angrily tells Spopovitch he will not get away with this. Goku asks Kuririn if anyone has senzu, but Kuririn says they did not bring any since this was just supposed to be for fun. Goku decides he will go see Karin about getting some, and teleports away. As Gohan rushes backstage with Videl, he is relieved to hear that Goku went to get some senzu for her.

The match begins, but Gohan is worried about the fuss that will be caused if the kids at school know how strong he is, especially since Kibito doesn't look like a very easy opponent. But his worries quickly vanish when Kibito asks him to turn into that Super Saiyan thing, it could really help them. Gohan wants to know how he knows about Super Saiyan, and what does he mean by "help us". Kibito says he'll know soon enough. Gohan is hesitant to transform in front of this crowd, though. Backstage, Yamu asks about them, and Spopovitch, holding a weird looking meter says nope, their energy is low. Piccolo yells out to Gohan, and Goku asks Piccolo if something is wrong. He doesn't know, but... Kaiōshin interrupts him, and apologizes, but they need to use Gohan. And no matter what happens, all of them must stay here and not interfere. Gohan decides to do it, thinking he'll just have to give up school. Vegeta says he won't listen to someone he doesn't even know, but Piccolo tells them this is Kaiōshin, god of all the Kaiō. Everyone is shocked to hear this, and Goku says he has heard of him. Meanwhile, the crowd is growing restless that they're not fighting, but then Gohan starts to power up.
Satan soon learns of Videl's great injury and loss, and freaks out. He runs out of his lavish waiting room over to medical area where she is healing up. Gohan assures him that her life is not in danger, and Satan gets pissed and thinks he did this. The doctor says he was the one who brought her in, and so Satan offers to give Gohan his autograph later. Gohan tells Videl he will get that guy in the next round, and then leaves. Satan says that weakling cannot do anything, her father will get revenge for her. Videl smiles softly, and Satan realizes what this means. He will not let her get involved with such a weakling, thinking she can only have a boyfriend who is stronger than himself. Meanwhile, Goku thanks Karin for the senzu. Before he leaves, Karin says he is getting bad premonitions about all that is going on, and Goku says he is as well.
