Buu can't believe this, and Vegetto agrees, saying he can't believe it himself either. Buu starts shaking, looking a bit constipated, and then begins spitting out little ghosts with Buu's head. Buu announces Super Ghost Kamikaze Attack and Vegetto recognizes it as the absorbed Gotenks' technique. Buu sends the ghosts toward Vegetto, but Vegetto vanishes. He reappears off to the side and throws small blasts at the ghosts, blowing them all up. Vegetto taunts Buu, saying how easy that was since the technique was thought up by a kid. Buu screams in frustration, as Old Kaiōshin wishes Vegetto would just finish the job and stop fooling around. Vegetto wants Buu to get serious, and so Buu angrily comes flying at him, saying it was unfair to fuse. Vegetto comments that Buu's fused with lots of people, as he holds off Buu's strikes with only his feet.
"Vegeta and Kakarrot fused... You could call it 'Vegetto'. But beyond that... This is Super Vegetto!!" Buu finally regains his composure and launches his ''ki'' attack at Vegetto, but he easily hits it right back at Buu. Buu just manages to duck out of the way at the last second by retracting his head into his neck. Buu chuckles, thinking that was nothing big, and flies at Vegetto with a punch, but Vegetto kicks Buu hard in the face, busting his nose. Vegetto mocks him, saying Buu probably wishes he still didn't have a nose. Buu says he's going to die a painful death, but Vegetto just punches Buu really hard in the face.

Dende is flying along, holding Satan, and Dende can hear the sounds of the battle off in the distance. Back at the battle, Vegetto kicks Buu square in the face, and Buu glares back at him in disgust. Vegetto tells Buu that he can't win at all, but Buu smirks, asking if he likes coffee candy. Buu suddenly zaps Vegetto, and he becomes a candy ball. Buu holds the candy in his hand and gleefully laughs. Kaiōshin can't believe this, while Old Kaiōshin yells at those idiots for goofing around too much. Buu holds the candy ball out in a fist, saying he's finally done it, but then he suddenly punches himself in the face. He drops the candy from his fist, and it floats there talking to him. Vegetto says his strength hasn't changed, and proclaims himself the strongest candy ball in the universe. On top of that, he's smaller, and harder to hit now. The Vegetto candy ball flies at Buu, hitting him in the stomach and face. Buu swats at him, but keeps missing, as the ball repeatedly slams into him, knocking Buu around.
Buu kicks at Vegetto, but Vegetto catches his leg, and then slams Buu down into the ground. Kaiōshin says Buu is helpless, and the Potara are amazing. Old Kaiōshin corrects him that it's because those two experts are fused, and even more so because they're rivals. Back on Earth, Vegetto shoots a ''ki'' saber toward the ground, and uses it to impale Buu, raising him back into the air. Vegetto asks him to get a little more serious, but Buu merely glares at him. Vegetto wonders out loud if Buu really had been serious, and apologizes if that's so. Buu slides himself off the sword, and begins steaming up with anger. There is so much steam that the two become completely engulfed in it, but they can be heard fighting inside. As the smoke clears, Buu is all busted up, and Vegetto is holding Buu's forelock in his hand. Vegetto tosses the forelock into the air, blasting it into dust. He'll do this to Buu's whole body, and cleanly erase him from this world. Old Kaiōshin is angry that he's just playing around, while Buu is completely enraged.

Vegetto then flies through Buu's mouth and out the back of his head, cutting off a chunk of his forelock. Buu finally concedes and returns Vegetto back to normal. The Kaiōshin really hope Vegetto will stop goofing around. Vegetto supposes he should finally end this, so he'll give Buu until the count of ten. "1... 2... 3... 4..." Thinking to himself, Vegetto hopes Buu will hurry up and realize something. "5..." Buu thinks he has to absorb him, but how... He remembers his piece of forelock that was cut off by the candy, and suddenly turns it into a blob. "7... 8..." Vegetto is glad he's finally realized it, thinking how he cut that piece off on purpose. "9..." Vegetto hopes this will work. "10!!" The blob starts to envelop Vegetto, but he quickly puts up a barrier. Buu brings the blob back to himself, absorbing it into his body, and is pleased with his idea.
