General Overview

Sam Sam is a restaurant (or possibly a different type of store) in (or near) Nicky Town. During Age 767, the location was attacked by Cell as he sought power to confront the other Artificial Humans, apparently killing all of the patrons. They were likely revived later in the year after the people killed by Cell were revived by the dragon balls.
Name
The name "Sam Sam" is only depicted in Latin characters, written in cursive. A Japanese form is never provided in dialog in the series. As the locations in this portion of the anime are largely based on herbs and spices, the name may be a reference to sansam, a form of wild ginseng found in Korea and China.
