Basil Town is a fictional location in the world of Dragon Ball by Akira Toriyama. The location, somewhere between Ginger Town and Kame House, was featured in Dragon Ball Z Episode 146, written by Aya Matsui. It was unnamed in the original anime, but given the name "Basil Town" in Daizenshuu 7: Dragon Ball Large Encyclopedia,[1] most likely because it is also the location of Basil Airport. Imperfect Cell attacked this area while powering up to fight the other artificial humans but was pushed back by Kuririn, Piccolo, and Tenshinhan.

General Overview

Basil Town's location is unknown, except that Kuririn passed it while taking a "short cut" from Ginger Town to Kame House.[2] In addition to an airport, the town also contains a fancy restaurant (Sam Sam) and other amenities. During Age 767, the location was attacked by Cell as he sought power to confront the other Artificial Humans, killing many of the citizens. Kuririn arrives while he is attacking Basil Airport and successfully holds him off for some time until Piccolo and Tenshinhan arrive and force him to flee. The citizens were likely revived later in the year after the people killed by Cell were revived by the dragon balls.
